    Checked yew bowl

8 3/4" x 4" bowl with checking through the walls, finished with Walnut oil. multiple bow ties routed then filled with epoxy and rasp chips of Bubinga. Some checking left as is. This is my first footed bowl. I am testing this bowl in changes of environment, temp and humidity. Will see how this bowl holds up, stable or destruction.

Do you really need to add the word, "wood" on the bottom?

Not really. But, many people would not know Yew as any thing at all. Take Blood Wood, Blood by its self would be a case in point.

Nice. How did you turn it to include the feet?

Greg. Leave yourself a raised foot on the bowl, remove the center shaped to the curvature of the form leaving a raised ring around the bottom. Remove portions of that ring leaving the separate feet. I used a rasp and some power sanding to do this. PM me if questions.
