    Way to go Richard!

Keep your first few projects and in 50 years you can show your grand kids some of your early work. They may even become collectors items.

Hmm that's weird George...I see small pics in the thread and they are linked to his site ok for me. Maybe a popup blocker or something?

Richard...Looks great!...Now you're going to have to get in the habit of telling us what size...what's the wood type, and what you used for a finish. You obviously are excited about turning....I gotta tell ya...That is a very fine thing to see!!!

If I turned that well when I was 16? I'd be better than Bill Grumbine by now. Well...maybe not, but I sure would have had a good stab at it anyway.

Very nice pieces and you're doing very well, just keep it up as there's no better way to improve and hone your turning skills better that spinning wood on the lathe and making something of it. Congrats on a job well done.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

Verry impressive work. In another few years you will be giving seminars if you keep this up.

Very nice work, Richard...keep it up! Turning is a wonderful pasttime and not many of us had the advantage or luxury of learning at your age. Bravo!

Way cool, Richard! Fantastic that you achieved the captive ring on something that small, as well! Yup, you've got a leg up on a lot of us! Keep up the great work!

I can, (vaguely) remember turning at 16 . If he keeps this up, the seminars will begin in about two months.
    Nice execution with your project.

Very nice piece Richard. It's great to see someone your age have this interest. Looks like your parents have raised you right. You can tell them I said that and that you deserve some more tools or something
