    my first awl

    Got this kit from CSU and used some of the maple burl I had on it. The burl is stabilized with ploy and buffed on the Beal wheels. This will be a present to a brother. Now I need to make me one!

    Nice job! That is almost to pretty to put in the shop.

    Lovely burl!! Very nice shape!!

    And just to think that I use an old plastic one! I need to start thinking about turning some things for my shop!! This is a real inspiration!!
