Aftermarket fence on SawStop professional cabinet saw

I am about to take delivery of a sawstop professional cabinet saw. Having read many of the reviews, i would prefer to keep using my vega fence and sell the sawstop fence with my unisaw. The issues is that the sawstop fence directly supports the metal side tables, while the vega fence does not. Does anyone who currently has this saw thinks this will be a problem, or has anyone done this with their sawstop professional?

You either need to keep the SawStop rails or get some angle iron & make your own. I'd keep the rails cause they are nicely finished & are drilled to fit your saw. The buyer of your SS fence would like need to redrill the rails anyway.
