    Milwaukee 10" SCMS

I just ordered a Milwaukee 10" sliding compound miter saw from Amazon for a decent price and went out on the limb because it is a Milwaukee. Does anyone have any feedback on this saw? Has anyone ever seen this saw?! I've read the reviews on Amazon and they were generally positive...just looking for fellow woodworker knowledge.

    TIA, Tom

tom, i own three of these saws. and have had one switch go out of one saw in 6 years of hard production work. brushes seem to last a little over a year. pretty easy to tune and comfortable for me...02 tod

Thanks Tod. There was a question of accuracy and deflection of the blade when cutting through material at an angle. Have you experienced this? I also ordered the Sawzall "Hatchet", which I have wanted for quite some time. I've got lots of household and woodworking projects coming up!
