    Pic Posting suggestion....

    I really appreciate the pieces posted to this forum. But I have a want. I want to see what the blank looked like BEFORE the finished product. I want to see big, ugly, dusty, lichen covered firewood..then...beautiful bowl, platter, etc. I see blanks in stores and occassionally wood on the side of the road but I don't have the vision of the 'swan inside'.

    So guys & gals (Carol) ...let's see the BEFORE with the AFTER !!!!

    I agree too. And I agree to do my part as well.

    In the meantime. here's a link to Richard Allen's platter making photo series. It's terrific and sets a standard for this concept.

    Chip, I dug around and found some pics of some Pear and the HF I posted a few weeks ago. I'll try to remember to take some more before pics.
