    How long have you been turning ?

    Just fo giggles ,How long has every one been turning?
    Me <----- 16 years 10 professionally.
    I think I got saw dust in my drowers again......

    Huh?

    6 months for me but really only 3 months of focused effort.

    Given some of the gorgeous work I've seen some of you guys displaying....I think some of you might be lying.

  10. Started tinkerin' around with turning at Dennis' shop a little less than a year ago. Been turnin' in my shop for a few months now.

    About 5 months. Started as a fathers day gift... They really didn't know what they where getting themselves into. LOL

    High school. Dropped it. Picked it back up in 1980. Dropped it.
    Back full time in 1993, staircases and cabinets.
