Face frames and LVLP Spraying

Greetings,
New to the forum, not to wood working. I have a two part question for the group.
I am building kitchen cabinets using UV Prefinished plywood for the cases, and rustic
Hickory for everything else. My first question, and I think I know the answer, how
do I apply the finish to the face frames, can I get a good enough finish without spraying them?

The next question is concerning spray guns. I have a compressor capable of 7.7 cfm @40 psi.
Is there a spray gun that will spray USL, and give me a good finish without breaking the bank,
or buying a complete system. I know HVLP will usually require more cfm than I have, and I am not
seeing much talk about LVLP guns. Also while on topic gravity vs pressure style guns??
