    Zinnser French Polish

Has anyone every tried Zinnser's (sp?) Bull's Eye French Polish? If so, what were the results? How easy is it to use?

    Ted,
I have it and have used it some, but I'm not as pleased with it as I thought I would be. The finish is nice, but I'd just as soon pad the shellac on the way i always have... It is an expensive finish, and I don't think the percieved "benefits" i.e., easier rub-out are worth it...

I use it as a friction finish on the lathe and it works very well. 4-6 coats and it shines like a diamond, but lets the feel of the wood come through, which is important to me.

Easy to use and the finish isn't half bad......but you can get better with the ol' mix your own shellac.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,
