Attached is a photo of a photo sent to me by my father-in-law of the fruit bowl I made for him filled with apples. It was accompanied by a nice note telling me how much he is enjoying the bowl. What a wonderful aspect of wood turning!

Thanks Bob. I appreciate it. I think what I was getting at also is that we don’t always get to see the pieces we make and give away (or for you pros, sell) in use. So it was nice to get this photo and note.
I agree! We often gift turned wood items and for the most part people respond in a like manner and it just seems to make the whole process more fun!
