    Filter bag inflation

    I just installed my new top bag from American Fabric. It's 21" dia and 56" tall 16oz PE felt. 2HP Jet DC-1200. 1 micron I think. First time I've run it. It barely inflates the top bag. It wouldn't even stand up on its own. Is this normal? My HF collector puts way more pressure on its bag. Maybe because its too clean and is flowing a lot?

    as it gets dirty it will tighten up

    A new, high quality bag like you have that's flowing air properly will not "inflate".

    Thanks for the replies! I’ll start using it. Anyone need a clean one owner only used on Sundays HF dust collector......bag is well seasoned.
