Unhappy Parts for ENCO 14x42 lathe

I picked up this lathe on eBay. The lathe has a 1 1/8 thread headstock but no morse taper. ENCO does not have any parts available now, it is too old. Is there such a thing as a screw on acapter with an internal morse #2 taper? I also need a tool rest, it is missing. If i cannot find the parts, I guess I will have to scrap it and buy another.
    Thanks,
    Eddie

NO NO don't scrap it!! is the shaft hollow? if it is you can buy a reamer that has the same taper as a #2 on the flute side, and morse taper on the mounting side. Keep in mind the hole needs to be just a bit larger then the small end of a #2 morse taper

No hole, consult your local machine shop. If the shaft isn't big enough they may be able to machine you an adapter to thread onto the spindle that has a morse taper in it
