    Free drawing post

No big deal, just being nosey (curiosity killed the cat),

Why are the free stuff drawings being posted in the "General Woodworking" forum insteat of the "Free Stuff Drawing" forum?

Doug, to venture a guess, the “General Woodworking and Power Tools” forum has, by far, the largest number of viewers. Not everyone uses the “New Posts” button, and those people would miss the “free stuff” posts.

Doug, they are posted in general to start because pretty much everyone goes there. When the drawing is completed, they get moved to the free stuff forum...

Part of the draw for companies to donate to the free stuff drawings is to get their name out there, general seems the best way to do it

Indeed, all FreeStuffs are posted in the General Forum until the drawing is complete, at which time they are moved to the FreeStuff forum for archival.
