    Home Depot Makita Drill Deal

For $159. It is the 14.4v NI-MH! impact wrench, drill driver, florescent light, 2 batteries and a charger. The regular price was $229. Amazon is currently asking $216 for the set.

This was posted on another board. It was confirmed several times, and so I'm heading to my Home Depot this evening.

This is the link to Amazon so you can see the package.

You KC guys leave one for me, I haven't had a chance to sneak out yet and grab one.

They must be getting rid of them so they can push the Ridgid stuff. I paid something like $129 for just and impact gun last year and thought that was a great deal!

Well I just confirmed it. The Olathe Home Depot had them on the shelf at $229, but the computer rang it up at $159. So out the door for only $170.00.

Steve, HD is most likely trying to close out the NI-MH drill since Mikita's latest offering is an 18V Lithium-ion drill. Take a look at it while you are in the tool department.

I picked up one of these sets last night thanks to you Steve ! Our local HD had about 15 left. I had been watching for a deal on one for quite a while, and McFeely's had it for $220 which was the best before the Amazon deal.

Thanks for posting the info. Steve! Just another example of the power of SMC!!

    Thanks Steve!

I agree with Tom...Another example of the power of SMC.

I've been wanting to replace my old Dewalt 12V batteries and for another $40 I get this kit.

    Sweet!

    Thanks again,

    Ron

Neat! Now I am debating picking it up to have another impact and another cordless drill! If it was something that matched what I have, I would get it for sure.

    Kurt,

I couldn't find it on the website either. I went to my local store this morning and had to have a guy pull one off the top shelf. He scanned it and sure enough $159. $170 out the door.
