    Finishing Booth

I have my finishing booth basically done. This area is designed to be able to spray WB finishes and for wiping/brushing finishes as well. I plan to put a curtain over the opening to allow sealing it off from the rest of the shop to keep dust of my projects as well, though I haven't found the right material for that yet. The overhang on the "roof" is to make it 8' long so that I can temporarily store materials up there while the acclimate to the shop. I installed three covered fixtures with daylight bulbs to give good even lighting. The walls are unfinished, but I plan to spray them with a coat or two of some Minwax WB poly that I have around. The filter holder is designed to hold furnace filters, and has a cover that fits over it. The back side of the cover has a piece of foam insulation board which fits tightly to keep the conditioned air in the shop when I'm not finishing. I tried it out today and am very pleased with the results. Finishing in here will be a no-mess proposition.

    Matt,

Super nice job. It should serve you well.

Thanks. I've been thinking about it after spraying that first project.
