    A.T.F. made tools?

Not the Alcohol, Tobacco,& Firearms one...

This one. A bit strange looking critter..

That's a #102 beside it...the finger rest is more sized for the Pinky Finger, than a thumb/index finger to rest on..

Too long, mouth is way too big, sides are straight...compared to that #102...

Yes, that is a washer under the bolt,

Nor is it a low angle plane....

Not sure whether to keep it around, or, just toss it out..length is 6-1/4", body is 1-5/8" wide...iron is 1-1/4" wide...mouth opening is 1/4"....enough room for even a Hock iron...

Next time I cull the herd...ATF may go along...

The verdict is in.....A.T.& F. plane has been tossed into the trash can...Mouth was way too WIDE, and,,,by the time I would get that sole flat, would almost be too thin. Iron was even too short to keep as a "spare"....and, I have plenty of bolts and washers. I do have better block planes.....might just get out an old box, and toss the worst of the 15 or so block planes in it.....and save only the best ones...may keep 1 #110..just for rough work. Too many of these little critters..need space for other, larger planes.....time to cull the herd.

Yes..there IS such a thing as too many planes.....
