I'm a little off topic but will share this family story related to one of these saws. Christmas day was always a sad period for my mother. Why? Because as a 11 yo child on Dec. 25, 1925 her father was killed cutting wood with one of these on their farm in Center Hill Arkansas. Not sure what type of power unit was operating it but his clothes was caught in the belt and threw him into the saw. Mom was the oldest of five kids and became an instant second mom helping to raise the younger ones.
