    Gallery of new spheres

Haven't posted any new spheres in a while. Thought I'd put a bunch in a single thread to avoid cluttering things for those that don't care to see.

Some of these have come from blanks sent to me by denizens of this board; you know who you are and how grateful I am. Generally 2-3" in diameter

Bloodwood, East Indian rosewood, unidentified South American burl, kolahala (pheasantwood), mulberry

Thanks Sam. Just a quick coat of Danish oil, then (after drying) buff with tripoli, white diamond, and carnuba wax. Easy peasy. More details here: https://sawmillcreek.org/showthread....ding-finishing

You are certainly a king of spheres! Wood is wonderful and is as it is but but your skill in turning is outstanding.

I forgot, have you ever done a video on sphere turning? If not maybe you could talk me into a road trip sometime when the weather is warm. I come with a 4-camera switcher, pro recorder, lights, teleprompter, and editing.
