Dust Collector Remote Switch Help, Pleas...

I have an older Grizzly 1hp dust collector that I've rewired for 220v. I want to use a remote switch for it. Do you have experience with a well priced remote that will work with this?

    Hi Derek,
I had a Lone Ranger 220v remote from Penn State Industries that worked well for many years.
I did a quick search online and it's still available for about $90.

If you are capable of doing electrical wiring you can make a plug in remote for less than the cost of the Lone Ranger. A ~$20 remote switch bought online, an electrical box, a contactor, electric cord, plug and a few more small parts will get a really good remote switch.

This time of year I would look for a holiday light remote switch for 120 volts. Use that to power a relay controlling 240 volts.
