This is a fun project I built for my grandaughter from a picture she found in a magazine. A few pieces of MDF, some poplar and a store bought bowl for the sink and a little paint. It's fun to get away from the serious stuff once in a while.

Now that is cool, what a great idea. Better than store bought, and more rewarding.
This is great... I have some projects like this that I got myself into.. I told my kids about a year ago that we could build a playhouse outside and they won't let me forget it.. This spring I will have to plan on that.. Nice project and lovely little girl!

Outstanding! That's what it's all about. Now, what's for dinner?
Few projects are as rewarding as these types. I'm sure your granddaughter will remember this project for a lifetime. Great work.
Now that's just plain neat! I have saved your images for 5 years from now when my daughter wants one!

Lou....
A great project for an even greater little girl

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
Very nice! My father did something like that for me a long time ago except he build me a wooden castle. It meant a lot more to me knowing he made it. I am sure your grandaughter will appreciate it that much more knowing you took the time to make this for her.
That does look like fun Lou. Did your granddaughter help you with the project?
Unfortunately she lives too far away, Frank. However, she did serve as design consultant over the phone.

Awesome Lou! One lucky little granddaughter indeed! One question - where did the faucet come from? It doesn't really look like an authentic one.
There's one in every crowd......and it's usually me!
Fred,
I bandsawed it out of some scrap poplar. The handles are cut from a piece of closet pole I had.

Very cool Lou. Like Jeff, I've saved the image for a future project idea.
Lucky Grandpa too. Having created something that will provide wonderful memories for both of them, memories lasting a lifetime.Originally Posted by Fred Voorhees
