Bosch 12” Glide vs Makita 12” Miter?

I liked the laser on my Bosch but it died just after the warranty and there were no replacements available. Maybe mine wasn't the only one to have a short life.

IIRC, I ended up replacing the battery at one point if you've still got yours. Mine is still going strong after 4-5 years of hobby use.

That was my first move. Unfortunately, that was not the problem.
