18 inch band saw for sale

I have a Min Max S45 band saw for sale. I am not sure of the cut height, it is either 12 or 13 you can look it up it is cold in my shop which has been shut down for the winter. It has a rip fence included. You can look up the particulars if really interested. I replaced the stock guides with Carter guides. I had to completely remake the lower block to fit the lower ball bearing guides and thrust bearing. Motor is 1.8 HP and is 220 volts. No sales tax. Asking 995 for pick up only in Nashua IA. 50658

I will deliver it anywhere, extra cost to be determined.

Are the paper towels for wiping up blood?

He did mention a price $995. I have Minimax equipment and it is quality equipment. I would say this is a reasonable deal. If I didn't already have a Laguna 18, i would jump on this.

I have the same bandsaw, mine has resaw height of a tad over 10" (mine is probably a different year). I've had mine for 6-7 years now, not a single problem. Mine made in Italy, nice bandsaw. Randy

I use the towels for wiping what up spilled coffee and what ever needs a rag. But it works on blood also.

Oops, he stated a price without $ so my quick scan missed it.

    MEA CULPA!

Yep, it is less than my JET 14" cost me.

I was surprised by what Randell wrote so I went over and checked for sure and mine comes in at just over 9 and 1/2 inches. I wasn't trying to mislead anyone. I though it had the same re-sawing ability as my Grizzly 17 inch saw. I have a 1/4 - 6 hook toothed blade on the min- max so I never really use it for re-sawing in the 6 or 7 years I have owned it.

Dang, I just spent all my fun money on some other really cool stuff. I could use another bandsaw set up for curvy work.

If you're coming, bring the bandsaw, please. LOL!

I'm maybe 15 miles from the Augusta National.

Right now listening to granddaughter rant on FaceTime because she forgot and is driving down Washington Road in front of the clubhouse while the gallery is leaving the course for supper. She has moved <100' in 30 minutes.

I've bought and sold tickets for the Masters in the past. Haven't won the ticket lottery in a 3-4 years.

Tom, bring the saw. I'll buy it. You can stay with us. But, the tournament tickets are on you! LOL

I drove to Augusta this morning around 7:30 AM on the I20. Got off at the first exit in GA, a.k.a., River Watch Parkway. Ticket hawkers were walking the exit ramp holding up fingers for the number of tickets. I didn't ask if they were buying or selling.

It is a really great place to visit. Be interesting to see how the well the grounds crew tuned the azalea blooming.

I can't wait. An event made for HDTV.

Sincere apologies to Tom for interrupting his bandsaw sale.
