Any one have experience with the self leveling type mix, can it be used over existing layer of application of mix? I tried to build up on floor and top layer did not stick to the first layer. I'm thinking that the second layer was to thick?

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
Need more info. what type of floor wood or concrete and what goes on top. Depending I do not think it matters if they bonded or not as long as the install is careful not to break up the top layer.

Sorry for the late reply, I found out that a primer is required before applying leveling compound, I used a skim coat and built up area that was low,the project continues,
Laying down under lament then vinal flooring.
