    Creeker's Past Week's Accomplishments

    22 May 2023

    Greetings,
Well, The LOML graduated college Saturday. So proud of her!!! National Technical Honor Society, Cum Laude, Phi Theta Kappa, Certified in Digital Accounting (Quickbooks) and also Microsoft Office Specialist. All I did was take care of everything so she could focus on school, homework, exams, and etc. Very PROUD of her!!!
Now that she's smarter than me, maybe I can retire from I.T. work.

That's it for me, so what did YOU do this past week?

Best of weeks to you all.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,
    Dennis -

Congrats to you and your wife Dennis! I'm sure you are both glad to be moving to the next phase!

Congrats. Tuesday, went to Garden Club Picnic. Made a steam tray of banana pudding to take. This recipe uses two dozen eggs (separated) two boxes of vanilla wafers, about 10 pounds of bananas. Pudding is cooked in a double boiler. Went to the doctor on Wednesday with pinched nerve in my neck. One of the meds he put me on, means no driving, power tools, or climbing ladders for the next month. Nerve is getting better. With help of grandson, on Thursday, installed a new water heater in second floor utility room. The cut off valve ( ball valve) leaked, so now I have brown spot on ceiling below which will require some Kiltz to be sprayed on it when it's completely dry. Unfortunately had a small leak at heat trap. Took forever to actually locate where leak was coming from. Finally last night around Ten PM figured it out. Knew I wouldn't be able to sleep, so took piping apart and fixed it. Took less than an hour to do. Over the weekend attended North Carolina Wood Workers Picnic. Won a Worksharp knife and tool sharpener from raffle. First time I've ever won anything in the raffle. The raffle is how they raise funds to support sight. Stuffed my face for the second time in a week, and enjoyed every bite of it!

    Bruce,
The picnic was great. I brought home a great piece of artisan scroll saw work. I'm now trying to figure the right place to hang it.

Dennis, congrats to your other half! That's a wonderful achievement and the support you gave her is clearly top notch.

Not much to report on the past week. Did help my daughter's SO get the trailer wiring in her Outback and took him out for his first "towing lesson". Did what is hopefully the final regrading near the shop building so I can finally restore the rest of the lawn grass. I really do need to get back to shop stuff...
