    Lightbulb soft maple


    I'm building a entertainment center for a client sides will be birch veneer plywood am I thinking right that using soft maple for the face frame and top it look good when stained?

    I've done that before and it looked good.

    I've also used birch ply with alder and it looked great even without a stain.
