Nice. That's the same 24" I have. No RAS that big though.

Amazing score; must be 3 phase. I doubt you'll ever have need to upgrade either.

That's a really good haul! A big old bandsaw is a nice thing to have for sure.

    sparkle water can for scale.

Can't wait to get this corner of the shop organized, cleaned up and the power ready to go.

On outfeed for these guys, do you ever tilt the table of these bandsaws? If so, not sure how outfeed will work

I have never tilted the table on my 26" Moak bandsaw. The most common tilted cut I have done is for an Adirondack chair, and that is simply easier on the 14" bandsaw, given the size of the part.

Congrats! 24" bandsaw is a really nice size. A lot of folks manage to get those old RASs dialed in very well too, you'll enjoy both of those and fir a very fair price too.

Nice score. Be sure you have a negative rake blade on that radio alarm saw. An aggressive large diameter blade climb cutting with some power behind it can get pretty grabby.

As far as outfeed support goes, linear rips can be supported on their lower corner with a roller stand. It works best if your rip fence can be positioned on the right, lower side of the cut so you don't have to push the stock up against the fence. For curved bevel cuts you have to muscle it. That's why boatyards have ship's bandsaws with tilting frames instead of tilting tables.

Nice score. Pretty funny that they call that 24" bandsaw "Compact".
    - After I ask a stranger if I can pet their dog and they say yes, I like to respond, "I'll keep that in mind" and walk off

    nice score

typically, I do not tilt my 36" Moak BS. it can be done, but I have not found that I need to. love the Radial arm saw. I have a similar one and use it almost every day. Sure I like my compound miter saw, the the RAS does a great job of cross cutting and breaking down stock. I leave it at 90 degrees and don't use the tilt functions.

My dewalt RAS has a cast iron switch mount on the front of the arm. The switch is bad. Many people add a mushroom switch box on the front apron of the table. That way you can turn it off with no hands.
