Handle was beyond any repair, so a replacement was located and installed..
About 1910 or so era? Sold as a Fulton at a Sears store...

I don't think this is a Sargent made plane. Lateral adjuster is wrong. It may be a Union instead. Note that some later Unions had Stanley casings for the body and frog, and then Union put on the rest of the hardware, including the lateral adjuster. There were a few other companies that made "Fulton" planes, but I don't think this is one of them.

Underside of lever cap...has both a 418 and a 422 number....so this would have been a #410c....Iron seems to say Fulton Waarnted...
Depth adjuster...while it is Brass, it also has a steel insert for the Right hand threads...

Front knob has a bead milled around the bottom...
Yep, made by Sargent, sold at a Sears store as a Fulton Brand plane.....The No. 410c is the same size as My Stanley No. 4-1/2c, Type 11.

It got put to work, today...a chopping block I use to chop dovetails on,,,,needed leveled a bit..
