    What wood? Glasgow bar edition

A very close friend and his gang of fellow miscreants - cycling addicts one and all - are in Glasgow for the World Cycling Championships.

About 11 am local time today, he sends me this photo from the Laurieston Bar and asks "Huh?"

Took a bit, including help from the bar's help, but got it. 60+ year old veneer.

    Thoughts?

When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.

Nice job Steve - I've never been near it so was pretty awestruck
