They don't make Johnsons Paste Wax anymore? I have had a can for at least 40 years and I may run out soon.

Then again I (as in me) may run out by then also.

Well, Dyson sells a hair dryer for $429.

Here's a competing model on Amazon for $14.99

They should rename it the "Barnum".

No, it's discontinued...there have actually been threads about that.

Dr. Google shows ridiculous prices for the Johnson's paste wax with reasonable prices for alternatives.

There were more alternatives including a bowling alley wax.

Though my can of Johnson's paste wax was likely purchased in the early 1980s only about a third of it has been used. I think it will last for as long as needed.

Paste wax is not discontinued. Johnson's paste wax is discontinued. I didn't/am not panicking. SWMBO who did a lot of our finishing preferred the HF Staples Bowling Alley wax from Woodcraft.
