Thanks Glenn. I have some caps to install in the screw hole mortises to hide the holes.

I was planning to build a larger light to go over the dining room table but haven't decided for sure yet.

Thanks Tom. I ordered some round diffusers to go over the light rings. Hoping that will reduce the visibility of the LEDs. If that doesn't work I may just go with an LED Edison bulb.

Thank you Christopher. I did a lot of research on the glass and ended up with iridized dark amber glass. I believe it to be a pretty close match to the Greene and Greene lighting I have seen (not in person). The problem we are having now is the visibility of the LEDs themselves which I am hoping a diffuser will take of but the larger issue is the light is VERY yellow. I used 3000K LED light engines thinking the softer light would be better. I am considering swapping the LED units for 5000K units which I can get from the same manufacturer. Not sure how much difference that would make...

Yeah the coding for color is “different” and does make a big difference in my experience. Are the lights on dimmers as well?

Charles, yes, the lights are on dimmers. I added a diffuser today to one of the lights and it helped with the visibility of the LEDs themselves but I am still not liking the yellow tinge.



I may post in the General forum to see if others may have input on light temperature and transmitting through colored glass.

Nice work!! They look like they came out of a period true A&C Bungalow in Pasadena.
You kept true to the Cloud Lift" motif without overdoing it, and everyone is correct, your choice of glass is perfect.
Those bridle joints had to have you a little nervous to have them come out square and true in every dimension.
