A Planer? I'm the Planer, and this is what I use
Fun project! Nice to see something besides beer (not that there's anything wrong with that).
A bigger tote would hold those bottles (and some glasses) more securely.

Then it could be flipped over and used as a table or a stool.

As I said..just using up the scraps I had on hand....only thing I actually bought was a piece of flat bar stock..

Joinery was fairly simple...except at the 4 outside corners..

Which were through dovetails...handle was sized to allow my hand to grab onto it..

Which was supposed to be tapped for the 4 bolt...until I snapped my only and only tap I had on-hand, while tapping just the second hole....So, now 4 nuts hold the 4 bolts in place.

Handle also allowed me to hold the carrier while brushing on the coat of Witch's Brew Stain.
Just a way to use up a stack of thin scraps....
