    Projects from the past

This was a bit of whimsy that I made circa 1980, and gave to my mother, who was an artist. Saw it recently at daughter's house.

Also a stool made maybe 1978. The top was from a cutting board made in junior high wood shop in the '60s. Rungs hand shaped from tan oak.
It now serves mainly as a plant stand.

Always nice to see things passed down in the family. They still look good, too.

The box looks to still be square and the stool is a classic. You did it right my friend.

That’s a great feeling to see past work still in service.
I once noticed a blanket style chest at a in-laws house I could see my signs of my work.
I have no memory of making it so my wife confirmed I had made. Before the internet and social media things were different.
    Good Luck
    Aj
