Lumber Run, Today...resupplied the Ash Stash

Boss had errands to run...wood supplier was home....dropped off the Boss to do her thing, and drove on over to buy a stash of wood for the shop..

ten planks @ 1 x 6 x 10'...had to be cut down to fit IN the backend of the Chevy Equinox LT.....

Besides a couple of Live Edge planks...there was a bit of fancier grain...

He even threw in a couple thin, shorties to clean off a shelf..

8 trips from the car to inside of the house..

And I am plumb tuckered out ( Knackered?)

Price? 10 planks @ $3 per plank....$30..

May start on a 4-5 drawer Chester Drawers...letting the lumber get used to the house, first.

Most of the longer boards are over 5' in length....as we were cutting the 10 footers down a bit...as the Boss would want to be able to sit in HER front seat.


Plan right now for this stash? a Chest of Drawers, with Frame & Raised Panel sides...made a small version last spring..might use a few details learned from that build...
