I have not tried one...yet...but I've had good experiences with their tooling. The one piece of insert tooling I have from them is a 2' slab flattening bit and it's excellent. I suspect that "ranger" will perform well. It's scary looking for sure, however!

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
I recently decided to make use of the 125mm x 55mm high Whitehill combi-head + bearing for pattern shaping. (I've used it with insert knives + power feeder for cabinet doors). And what I'd been told was true-- the bigger diameter head gives a much nicer finish than a bit in my router table. But pushing a pattern template towards that bit (on a 5HP shaper) definitely tightened the butt cheeks....

the cutters on the larger head cut more inline with the wood,. The router bit so small radius wise it is cutting more out from the wood, Much more of a chance for blow out. The carbide in the inserts is sharper than they can sharpen braised carbide.
