Received system on 10/06/2023. Less than 3 months old.
    Used twice.
My shop is simply too small and I don't use this enough to justify the space loss.

    3) Universal Mount Plunge Assist Kit
    4) Double Feather Board Kit
    5) Centering Bit
    bought as backups:
    6) Extra Router Boss 470 cable
    7) Extra Mortise Table Supports

    Asking $850 for complete package.
If interested shoot me an email and I will send you some more pictures and a short video.

Can this be used for template routing to or is it just for joint making?

    Hi Leigh,
Sorry…. I don’t really know on the template routing question, but the Chipsfly website has a lot of information and several really good usage videos that might be able to give you an answer.

I haven’t found any thing on the internet showing it’s use for template routing. I plan to replace my router lift and if this would be adaptable to template work it could be an option. I’ll keep looking. Meanwhile, carry on.

    Leigh,
After thinking about what you asked I think you're probably right. If "template routing" means putting down a template and then running a straight bit with bearing around in it, this is not what you would want.. This is a fixed position router setup that can hold tight tolerances on angles between the wood and the bit as you move the wood over it.

    On a completely different note:

I should have made it clear that the Router "IS" included in the deal.
It is a Porter Cable 890 Heavy router with a 8902 motor with variable speed between 10,000 - 23,000 rpm.

    Here's an updated items list:

    1) Router Boss 470 Digital
    2) Mortise Table Kit
    3) Universal Mount Plunge Assist Kit
    4) Double Feather Board Kit
    5) Centering Bit
    bought as backups:
    6) Extra Router Boss 470 cable
    7) Extra Mortise Table Supports

    8) Porter Cable 890 router with 8902 motor.

    $850 for everything above.

    thanks again,
    david
