I am building a corner computer desk with pull out tray and a side cabinet @ 36" wide with 3 drawers. I plan to make solid panels for the two sides and cut a foot into them like the picture below. I will add similar feature to the front frame. Where the corners meet should I reduce the size of the foot in the side cutout to allow for the 3/4" overlap from the front frame? I did not do this on the book case pictured. Thought it would look more symmetrical if I make the width of the foot the same on all three sides that included the face frame 3/4's on the sides.
