I found a screw on MSC that might work. It looks like you would have to grind down the head about .010”.

bad news is that they are $1.00 each with a minimum order of 25.

The first place I tried was Brownells. No joy. I figure that those screws are kind of a specialty thing. It’s going to be tough to find them.
