    Lingerie Chest

    Hi all,

I finally finished the wife's Lingerie chest. After much help here on the forum I'm happy using under mount drawer slides with insets. This was my first time using this method.

It's curly maple and cherry finished with Arm R Seal satin. The maple was toned using a liquid dye.

    Now on the the dresser.

    Thanks again all.

That is a very nice looking piece of furniture. At least two thumbs up!

I asked here and someone suggested this place. I normally get it in PA where I lived but for the price I had to stop by on my way back home. He let me store the wood until I came back to SC. They are really nice people at CP Johnson. I worked with Chris. I bought all the cherry too. Great prices and selection.

It's going to cost me more to fill than to build it.

That's a beautiful piece Mike. Congrats! I've always liked Cherry and Maple together.

Thanks all. It was a fun project. I already finished the sides of the dresser and just started the dust panels.
