Is there a name tag/serial number?

PM 50 is the only 6" jointer they made AFAIK, so that much is obvious.

Every number in the photo is from the motor, they have nothing to do with the jointer model number.

For instance if you search for Magnetek B674, it will return several electric motor offerings.

Easiest search to do in this instance is an image search of your first picture of the jointer.

    https://images.google.com/

This search will return many Grizzly results (due to the green color), but keep scrolling and you will find a Powermatic 50 referenced several times.

name tag is gone, not sure where else to look for another serial number other than the one on the motor, may be missing it

Powermatic is all that needs to be said. It’s a tank along with all other PM machines.

There is a lot of horrible machines out there with the name Powermatic on it. When they started importing machines, they made a huge mistake. Quality of that stuff was bottom of the barrel. Not the case with this vintage.
