    New Cutting Board, Old Design.

I finished a cutting board from a design I ran across many years ago.
This one is pretty much the same as the last one I made, and posted here, some 17 years ago.
This board is for a friend that recently retired, and in trade for some Bee hives.
Looks like I may be making more than a few in the near future, which is why I posted about looking for an efficient way to make ebony dowels recently.IMG_4144.jpg

The finish is a new try for me. I used Odie’s this time. Normally I would have used General Finishes, Salad Bowl Finish, but I can’t apply that finish during winter.
The wood is Bubinga, 1-1/8th thick, with ebony pins.

Nice looking wood. Ive never made any boards with breadboard ends. That would be a fun project I'll have to try it.
