Every man’s work is always a portrait of himself.
You win the lottery too? Very nice stuff, but I remember seeing a thread awhile back...ching...ching!

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...

I've seen things like this before and I do wonder about them...
I mean, I find that one my pleasures in woodworking is creating something that is of lasting value, that will be used a long time, perhaps even for multiple generations...
Computers, though, belong in the throwaway world. Every 3-4 years most of them get replaced. Even monitors usually have maybe a 5 year life.
(I'm not saying I agree with that, it just is that way. I do wonder if in my lifetime we'll get to the point that we actually keep a computer for 10-15 years -- and have it be useful!)
So, while I find these items beautifull -- and I do get a kick out of the roll-top cover for the monitor, that is REALLY original! -- It does seem a bit odd to put that amount of work into a disposable item.
Please, don't label me as contrary, just questioning...

Great looking stuff!

Procrastination.......
Maybe I'll think about that tomorrow
Well, as one who makes his living in the computer world, NEVER will I let these two worlds collide.
I won't let the beauty and art of woodworking be tainted by the evil empire of the computer world. Never, you hear me, NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
Very cool looking! What does one pay for something like that i wonder?
Those are jut plain sweet!! Thanks for posting.

Great looking stuff, Boyd. I'm guessing these pieces are not inexpensive.
I remember back in the day when we had to carve our own computers out of wood. It was especially getting the hard disk working right, but as I recall, spruce has more RAM.

Way cool stuff Boyd!
I especially like the tambour door on the flat panel.
Well you got a few eons sonny…I’ll tell you how we made ‘em in my “day”. Mind you this was before wood was invented.Originally Posted by Vaughn McMillan
