More CNC help on my tabled project

I'm working on a MCM table from Lane. It's a 42" round table with 3 leaves. The ends have fake dovetails inlayed into the top.

I used my CNC to cut the round ends as well as the edge ring around them.

Of course, I could have done it all by hand with a router on a trammel and template for the dovetails, but the CNC makes the machining part easier. Time wise it's likely a wash, though as creating the files/toolpaths and figuring out holding strategies to eliminate tearout take up significant time.

I also used the CNC to create a drilling jig for the pins between the leaves.

    It's nearly ready for finishing.

Really good example when something that's pretty complex to do can be cut with precision using the CNC. That truly looks excellent!!!
