I have similar looking homemade tools that I use for fretwork on guitars etc.

I appreciate it Maurice, but these are stellar build quality. They seem like high end kit.

Yes they are nicely made. My two are a ten thousands slot cutter used as a first step in cutting a slot or kerf. The other is a leveling file. It was carefully selected for flatness and glued to a handle. I can't tell what the benchcraft thing might be. Another image or two might help with an ID.

The "benchcrafted" tool is a carbide paring scraper, according to their website.

The top two are Glen-Drake kerf starters. The third is Scraper file/burnisher also by Glen-Drake.

    From website:

"Kerf-Starter looks like a knife but works like a scraper. It removes a shaving, leaving a kerf that captures your saw. Use it for laying out dovetails and other joinery."

"Scraper File-Burnisher is a very fine file on one side and a burnisher on the other side and both edges. It is ideal for adding the hook-burr to your Kerf-Starters and for the final filing and burnishing of your card and other scrapers."
"Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly will acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.”
    Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805)

"Quality means doing it right when no one is looking."
