A little Organization in the Kitchen

These utensils had gotten out of control. For now they are corralled.

African Mahogany and Oak with just a coat of shellac. Hand cut box joints. Yes the stock for the bottom was a little narrow and had to be extended with not quite matching material. Well all this was from offcuts and that corner is out of sight. The wide narrow compartment is mostly filled with Oak to add weight to prevent tipping. Front and long divider are tilted 9 degrees. 18" long and 6" high.

That looks very handy, & nice box joints. It might benefit from some little rubber feet to get above the wet.

Yes I have feet on the bench ready to install but it sits beautifully as is and that counter never gets wet. Besides, that would make a place for the kitchen spiders to run under.
