    Very good video, thanks for posting.

    I sometimes look at one of my projects and wonder where i got the ambition to spend so much time making the object. Cannot help but wonder what drove that man to spend that much energy to go on a picnic.

    I believe that the date was part of Oliver's motivation for releasing this particular project. (He does some really interesting projects, both spinny and not-spinny or incorporating both)

    I am a sucker for crazy things in the lathe videos. This is a good one. His hand placement on the saw and jointer worried me, even with the nice guards. That picnic sure looks first class. Ratty and Mole from Wind in the Willows come to mind.

    ‘What’s inside it?’ asked the Mole, wriggling with curiosity.
    ‘There’s cold chicken inside it,’ replied the Rat briefly;
    ‘coldtonguecoldhamcoldbeefpickledgherkinssaladfren chrollscresssandwiches
    pottedmeatgingerbeerlemonadesodawater—-‘
    ‘O stop, stop,’ cried the Mole in ecstacies: ‘This is too much!’
