    Tables, tables

It has been table building this winter...2 wedding gifts. Niece wanted a round table - at 5 feet diameter it was a fun build. All Pennsylvania Cherry
I prefer hand tools but as Clint Eastwood says " I man's got to know his limitations". I discovered the beauty of a belt sander. The couple wants to put a finish on themselves.

The next table is for my daughter in law and son. She wanted live edge. Hmmm. Ok. This one was edge joined only with hot hide glue and set veritically. No clamps. Joint seems solid. Probably going to use Waterlox finish on this one.

My basement is so cramped. Got to clear things out.

Yes, my brother was complaining about the hail at his place in Wayne County and posting memes of "spring snow plowing". LOL Only several inches of rain here in SE PA...the backyard is a swamp.

The round table is superb! I'd love a close up shot of the underside where the legs come together and details on joinery. The leg design is very well done IMHO.

Thanks Michael! Here are some pics of the construction. The top support is a big bridle joint. That was fun making
