    Revived old threads

The recently revived old thread on pricing cabinet work got me curious when it was locked. Seemed fairly obvious it was a very old thread, but “revived” by someone asking for updated info on the subject, and the discussion thereafter pertained to current pricing. I guess I’m curious if it is bad form to reply to any thread that is dated? I use the search function frequently, so want to know what is and isn’t frowned upon. Thanks guys

It's fine to respond or to post in any open thread here no matter what its age.

Thanks Keith. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t violate any rules, spoken or unspoken.

Agreed. The historical value of some of our discussions has been a boon to me more than once.

Google is good at finding old threads. If you can remember a few words in the right order, as well as who posted them, + sawmillcreek (or whatever site) a whole lot of hits will come up (including all of the things I got wrong).

I appreciated finding Thomas Wilsons reference to his "self-styled Tool of the Month Club".
I wonder how far Mr. Wilson took that idea?
