    English Tool Chest - Pickup in Lombard, IL (western suburb of Chicago)

    English tool chest for sale (made based on the Anarchist Tool Chest by Chris Schwarz).

    Made of clear pine, with 3 oak trays. Contains a saw till, front and back chisel/tool racks, hardwood handles, wheel casters, and a lid lock. See pictures.

    Local pickup only - not looking to ship this

    Dimensions: 40" Wide, 26" deep, 26" high (box only - 3" high casters to make it 29" high total)

    Asking $325

    Unfortunately, I have an antique tool chest similar to that, or I'd be thinking about a road trip for fun.

    I just wanted to say, if you made that Wow!, it's a really nice job!!!!
    For $325.00 it's a steal, and would make a great tack trunk for horses if you have trouble selling as a tool chest.

    Thanks Mike!

    I made it several years ago and used it to hold all my tools - unfortunately I don't have the floor space for it now after a shop reconfiguration. I think it's a good deal, I've seen them go for a lot more - it'd be nice to have it go to a good (woodworker) home...
