    FACES IN WOOD with photos

I know I can't be the only one who has found faces in wood they have turned so I thought it might be interesting to see some. I'll start with a couple of mine. The first is not in a turning but on the paneling in my office. He watches me all day.The second and third pix are of the same bowl which is ash, turned 9 years ago.

Keith that is great. I saw a piece on the big auction site the other day that you would swear was a face drawn on it.

    Interesting thread Keith,

One of my favorites, with some imagination, several faces and full forms of Sea Lions along the Oregon coast.
A turned Walnut top for a pepper mill. Taken with my old camera, wish I had a chance to retake the photo with the new camera, the mill has long been sold.

Thanks for starting the thread, great idea.

Tod, I don't know how but, I think you cheated!!! That's way too cool!

I've got a neat "face" at home but, it's just on a ply board and not round but, it should be "1/2 On Topic". I'll try to remember and grab a pic when I get home. Neat thread, Keith!!!

I think that eagle nebula is, (get this) 30 TRILLION LIGHTYEARS TALL! Try to wrap your brain around THAT number. Jeez.

I got no faces yet. Every once in a while I will see some post somewhere that has a dog or such on it.
