Talking I finally made it home!

After 4 weeks in Alaska, it is good to be home again! I’m looking forward to getting back into my normal routine and visiting the Creek on a more regular basis.

Here's a couple of the locals...

Don't you need to, like, thaw first?!?

Bruce, looks like you got back from the cold, just in time for more cold.

Cecil, it's supposed to get to 55 with clear blue skies today. I'll take that over 35 with a constant drizzle any day!

Glad to see you made it back without any "Tussle Encounters" with one of the Big Brown "Natives".

Now I know why we got so cold. Bruce's plane caught the jet stream and dragged it south.

Glad you made it back. Now could you send that plane back and take the cold with it?

Welcome back, Bruce. Glad to see you made the trip in one piece.

I know firsthand that 55° on a sunny day in Albuquerque feels about like 70° in beautiful downtown Burbank. It's rainy here today in sunny SoCal, and I can see snow on the mountains to the north (when he clouds clear out momentarily).

Sorry Karl, the pilot did mention that we had a 180 mph tail wind...
